annonym tracker owner - paypal & hosting
Hello, anyone here is a tracker owner? if so, just curious, when you order a server, say from leaseweb or caratnetwork, do you really enter your actual information while registering? and do you really register a domain with your actual information and just use whoisguard to hide it?
if you dont, i really need some help, im planning on getting a server from caratnetworks to host my site but isnt it dangerous to enter my actual information and pay with my credit card or paypal? :unknown: |

use paypal to pay, its safe, also you could use a fake name and a fake address for domain name and hosting
you have to use your real name with paypal if you want to be a "verified" user |

but wouldnt using a real paypal account to pay defeat the purpose of entering fake info for the hosting and domain because if people actually want to shutdown the tracker they would just have to check with paypal and they would get my real info.
kinda paranoid here. lol |

if they want to close your site they dont need paypal, they just ask the hosting company to shut it down
you could use fake name even with paypal if you dont want to be "verified" and paypal doesnt give your info to a private hosting company, they give it to the government authorities |

hmm yeah thats the problem im trying to not allow even government authorities to get my info, the changing law against torrent tracker doesnt seem good.
