Default Cannot get opentracker to work
Ubuntu Server 20.04

So, I compiled opentracker, no problems. Then I launched opentracker with just the simplest ./opentracker.

All good. No errors.

Opened up ports 1000-7000 on the server just to be safe.

Linux Mint 20

I then made several torrents using qbittorrent using http://IP.ADDRESS:6969 and udp://IP.ADDRESS:6969

I tried seeding them from my PC (ports forwarded), nothing.

rtorrent - no error messages, it can see the file list, see the trackers, but no peers.

I tried qbittorrent - It can see the seed and the peers, but refuses to download.

I am sure I am making a very basic error here. I haven't even delved into the config file yet. It is currently a 100% open tracker that should accept any torrent.

Or am I wrong?

Talk to you soon.

use this parameters in your conf file

Quote:
listen.tcp_udp 0.0.0.0:1337

tracker.redirect_url https://tracker.opentracker.com/

use your port and redirect url

Bump: https / http

Bump: if you want only udp use like : listen.udp 0.0.0.0:6969 / whatever port you want to listen

Bump: restart open tracker with new config file

Default Thanks, but still no good.
Thanks a lot for the config file info.

I updated it and then executed opentracker.debug -f opentracker.conf

It didn't complain.

I am seeding on a different VPS, and my home PC.

I am also downloading with three different clients, one of them on my phone.

Seeds and leechers all show on the clients, but no download.

Occasionally, my phone will tell me that the file will be ready in 32 weeks time.

This can't be right. I have to be doing something wrong. Can anyone help this idiot out?
