Default CPU no1 @ 100%...
hello and good morning

regardless of how many users i have on the tracker if i want to see what the system's load i get :

Click the image to open in full size.

Click the image to open in full size.

but the Tracker's Load is only 1 %

is that process esential for the tracker or the sistem ?
can it be removed or at least decreased in "priority" ?
this question might be noobish... but google didn t explain very well so bare with me

thank you in advance
(system : linux : fedora 10 : tracker source : musictorrents)

Bump: well i found out what that was

graphic interface

a simple kill solved everything...
(i ask a mod to close or delete this thread... thank you)

dude if u keep your tracker on your's computer and u are only one user then process could be one percent! When you use your computer like server and u will be many users your computer processor will be to 100% percent..

the problem with gdm was the graphic interface.
(you can kill it at your own risk)

as for the users well... i have stated earlier that... my pc consumed the same CPU regardless of how many users i had loged in
