Default XBT Tracker, cannot connect to peers
I was able to get my torrent files to upload. uTorrent reports the tracker as working. When I attempt to download the torrent, the status is stuck at:
"Connecting to peers 0.0%"

I have forwarded the port for uploading purposes.

Thanks!

What port is that ? From XBT or from utorrent client ?
Both partners need to have torrent client port forwarded so that download or upload could begin and since in torrent client at the announce url line you don't have "Connection refused by target machine" it would seem problem is from user-side and not server-side

Thanks for the quick reply!
Regarding the ports, I opened these:
2710 (XBT Tracker)
39182 (uTorrent port)

Could it be an issue with XBT? I have it using the same database, however xBTiT has the table prefix xbtit_ and XBT has the prefix xbt_
The statistics page also shows 1 seed connected and 1 leecher.

Disable DHT is also checked in the tracker settings page.

Never used xbtit. It's a shaddy cms with a lot of security issues.
Most likely you didn't forwarded your client port. Or the uploader/client didn't do that on his end.
If using router/modem you'd better go into the control panel.

I switched the tracker to use the non-XBT tracker for now. Same issue. This leads me to believe that it's a problem with setting up the torrent.

I'm also trying this in the same internal network.

Hmm, where do I find that?

I tried another machine just now that's inside the same network. Same thing happened.

Edit: uploading works on some public Linux distro torrents.

You look at the peers list and there should be a table that says Connectable.

Got it to work! Currently, I have it set to use the announce.php page instead of XBT. The problem with XBT is the file info is incorrect, I'll be seeding the file and it will report no seeders.
