the shoutbox plugin is set to all members except banned... but if you are at "user" level they get
Sorry, you are not authorized to Shout!

but like i say in the manage plugins are etc the shoutbox is set to allow the user level and all the others....

any ideas anyone?

Bump: sorted... seems even thought "users" was ticked in the plugin... it was disabled in the trackers settings under usergroup...

my apologies for a waste of a post... lol

not to new installers go through the usergroups properly... u didnt is what happens when you keep getting distraqcted and can't site for long periods and get on with things...

such is life! lol!

Shoutbox permission...done:

First: Settings Panel,Manage Usergroups...and change Permissions: General...
Can Use Shoutbox/IRC?,User can use Shoutbox/IRC./Yes or No

Second: Update Usergroup

Last: Works
