If I had to choose it would be neither, but! I would use TBDEV over Xbtit although I am using TBDEV for the simple reason that I'm indexing NZB's, but once again if I wasn't indexing NZB's I would use BT.Manager.

Although We have just moved one of our sites to BT.manager and I'm quite happy with it!!

Tbdev all the way... if you know how to code it :) Not using the default one.
Xbtitfm is always good, has some features that tbdev doesn't, i think.(don't know them) But can always implement them into tbdev easily if you know what to do.
You can always try to use u-232 that is based on tbdev (almost all things are based on it), if you prefer a source that has many features(some people won't like all of them)

But let me guess.. you want to look like the shit design of IPT ?

They both have there good and bad points no one can tell you what to choose my advise would be try them both I will not try and sway you between one or the other or try and push a source code you have not even asked about. Either way you would get support here for either of the two.

Thumbs down
If you want flexibility then DON'T go with XBTITFM as for the most part the source is encoded and is tied to a single domain http://www.xbtitfm.com/LightNEasy.php?page=subscribe

xbtitFM cons:
  • The script is for the most part encrypted, this means you'll not be able to modify much of the code
  • You can't install extra hacks due to the encryption, however some hacks have been converted to modules which you can install.

TrueBug PHP Loader is required in order for xbtitFM to function, please ensure you are able to run this on your site before subscribing. Click here for a tutorial on installing the Truebug Loaders.
Subscription is valid for 1 domain, for the duration you chose. For multi domains setup, please contact us using the form, maximum is 3 domains for the same user.
