Wink Wow There are some issues here.....
First off if you have to use the newer utorrent which there have been stories of anything past 1.7.2 "phoning home" Then I would not check the "Send detailed info" box for anything. Even if it doesn't ohne home why would you give it permission to send what your doing?
Second a lot of ISP's are throttling ports to discourage downloading so higher is better, I always use 57000 and make sure it's opened through the router.
Windows Firewal, God I hope no one is using that, They need a GOOD (That means not free) firewall, then to avoid issues afterwards with utorrent, turn the mess off. I have seen to many times when M$ can come right through their firewall.
Peer exchange can be a good thing if your getting a slow download, take from those that got more then you.
bt_connect speed the other settings wont help you if you limit yourself, this should be set to 99 unless you have a really crappy internet speed.

Again if you have to use a newer one just remember to watch your ports, block this thing through the firewall except for the port you opened for it and when all else fails go get 1.6. Articles on if it phones hoe or not are all over google, to me rather be safe then sorry, I know to many people that have gotten the new ones and then followed a couple days later by a letter from thier ISP for a crappy cam copy they had to see.
