Trying to install a slide show on the Home main Page to show images I would like to upload regularly as I want ...!
I know Image Flow plugin for uploaded torrents on the site and I don't want that unless it can be modified to make it a Slide Show! Thanks peeps |

you have to make your own plugin or addon.
here's one that might work Code:

I have not looked at the mod you referred to, but it gets its images from the db. Wouldn't it be simple to modify it to get its images from the folder where you upload the images to?

a simple wordpress slideshow plugin will do the work but where to integrate it is the question??
i mean install and put images to slide as it goes, without any relation to torrents and etc! |

Demo Idea (should work)
1. Start by uploading the two javascript files to your js folder in CPanel (jquery.js already exists) - wowslider.js - script.js 2. Then make a folder in your /styles/templatename/slider_images and put all your supporting images in here. 3. Then create a new plug-in in the AdminCP and name it like Slider and create the supporting TSUEPlugin_Slider.php file to support it and add to the add-ons folder. 4. After you would setup your TSUEPlugin_Slider.php file to point to the correct locations for javascripts and images. 5. Next add this code to the template main head right before the closing </HEAD> and edit the location of the style.css and jquery.js to match your location on the server Code:
<!-- Start WOWSlider.com HEAD section -- Edit paths --> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/styles/default/style.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/tsue/jquery.js"></script> <!-- End WOWSlider.com HEAD section --> 6. Last you would need to go to AdminCP and select Pages and add the plugin to the page(s) you want it to appear on. (example below can see Slider is checked for the Home Page) After it's a working model then the other stuff could be implemented in the TSUEPlugin_slider.php to pull the last 10 or 20 torrents for the slider if you wanted to make it that in-depth. Code:
https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=kZOWJs7ZldLFUcjRkq4nitR9OF8xFz7d5rH7 If get the TSUEPlugins_Slider.php built and working wouldn't mind a copy. I'd recommended cloning the TSUEPlugin_recentTorrents.php and creating TSUEPlugin_Slider.php from the cloned copy . Then modify from the table to the slider. I don't have time at the moment to work on that part but the other part the code shown on the wowsilder page should be implemented in this php. If I get it working myself when I have a minute I'll share that file also. Last edited by outtyrox; 14th August 2018 at 08:36. |
