the buddies list is just so you can add them to your PM list you have in pm.php?op=send you have a Show/Hide Contact List it dose not add you to theres no.
But they can black list you which then you can not send them a PM
and as for catigories in youtube it can be done yes just not thought much about it.
Maybe some one else can help if I cant get to it soon.
