5.4.1 Forum Annoyance, Forcefully resizes Image

Every image gets forced to resize to 20x20 with a white border around it. I can't seem to find where the source to this evil! I have scanned the css, globalconfig.php, ncode_imageresizer.js and even javascript_resizer.php, but came out as empty as venturing in.

At first I thought any of the files above had to "butt in", to force the resize to take place as they are tied to the code itself, but upon making an investigation, it became obvious that something else was doing it from further back, the question is which file?

The resize doesn't seem to affect much other pages, as the forum stands out to be the one who is suffering the most, even smilies gets resized!

Anybody can help me solve this devilish puzzle?

I don't have that error ... all the images are in correct sisez, those uploaded, those linked, and the smilies too.

I don't know what sort of error is that ... maybe if you're more explicit, where and when it appears?

Thanks for replying.

First of all, it plays with itself as soon as the img-tag is involved in the forum, forcing the images to resize to 20x20 size with a white boarder size 1 around it. Doesn't matter whether if it external image or a simple smilie, it still does that.

It doesn't seem to affect any other pages in particularly, as those are not suffering from the same decease. Got any guess on what it could be? :coffee:

did you verify that you have the correct GDI files and settings on your server? maybe it's from there ....

I'm most positively sure everything is as it should be, as everything works just perfect with other softwares.

Still can't figure out what causes that to happen though, something must be behind it, but there seems to be no visible traces as I can tell with my untrained eyes.

it hasn't happened on the current host I'm using but the other host used to use it happens sometime on certain images but not all
I think the resizing is re-occurring in multiple times without recognizing it got smaller till it gets really small

I had no issues from pics made by Macromedia Fireworks, Media Player Classic & Photoshop

Now you got my attention here Ashur, what host might that be? Perhaps I should consider moving. :secret:
