Go and use a free one, on a production site. If you don't know nothing about coding, security, and so on.. go and see how fast u gonna be hacked/flooded :) Besides this, going to have a lot of bugs, on some of them :)
Ask anyone you want. Even on a production site sometimes things go bad. That's why you need to know what are you doing, or need to have some guys that do.
Cheers!

***later edit:

Don't trust this guy. After putting me to work on a tbdev source to be like fu**ing zamunda bullshit site. That uses an ancient tbdev 06 source, but is improved, he said what was the difference between a source that is worked on, and a "google script". This is exactly what he said, google script, LOL.
He wanted to have magnet links and open tracker with a tbdev source, that is primary designed for private tracker, LOL.
After 4 days of changing my own project to look like he wanted to, and being sick, still, worked on the source, I saw his post. He asked what if the source i'm working on gonna crash. LOL. Every source will crash because of database changing, because of different variables, and so on. But he doesn't understand such things. He thinks everything is solid anti-crash. Then he said I was scared, not at all, just angry and irritated because I could work on my other projects, but I postponed them.
My advice is whomever is going to trust this guy, it better ask the payment before he gets to work, not to waste his time.
Why not just use Joe's source that is designed for open tracker? (If i'm not wrong about this.) Go and make it look like zamunda, if you can all by yourself :)
