I got a message yesterday 31.10.2008 from someone that its using XAM source:

lol thats old news
inside script is link to a curl.php on his server
this file checkes if you bought it or not and if you follow his rules
site dont work without link to that file

so if his site is down then all scripts he ever sold dont work

lol exept my versions :P
