Im currently trying to host a little private tracker for me and my friends only. Everything in the installation went fine, however, when people try to create their user it proceed fine, but the mail never shows up.

What can cause this problem - and how do I fix it?

Guess not. Its a fresh Debian 7 setup, any guidance? Or guides available?

if it's fresh it should have sendmail service.
go to the logs and look at the erros
and go in php.ini and set display errors to On bcuz on default is Off
this way u can see what is happening

btw if using iptables make sure port 25(sendmail) is not blocked.

Okay, I'll try that. Just to be sure, when you say go to logs - where in the system do you mean? Likewise with php.ini - the path to this?

hello i have set up tbdev 2009 successfully
i uploaded a torrent on the website - success
but in utorrent when i am seeding it shows that dht is allowed

should it not shown NOT ALLOWED ??
how can i change this settings on tbdev ?
