I cannot install BTManager 3.0.1 Final with Php 7.0
i get this error:

My server:

Checking PHP Version - 7.0.30 - OK
Checking Zlib - OK

But i still get a error with Php 5.6

that is because Php7 dose not support Mysql you must use Mysql(i) on install it is one of the options

yes mate it dose set up not very good too looks for one file for user uploads you cmd it too 0777 and still says hit needs cmd lol and the ann not working when set the site url too and the imdb not ENG

Napon there might still be a few things!! joe is working on :ok:

#1 what are you setting up on?
#2 what files say to chmod that dont work? ( I have set up on over 30 servers and never had this issue)
#3 IMDB is constanly changing things so it is hard to keep up with but I have only seen english so how are you getting other language as it is set to use the default IMDB site.

@joe i took the site down one was on usersuploads i cmd too 0777 and on installer still was not cmd mate ok imdb as you see in the screen shot its in french mate not in END mate i could not beleave it lol as you do look in to it on code and theres nothing about french imdb also when set the url for the torrant upload in utorrant said waring no torrant lol i set it up as it should have been as u do just do not know where it was doing it so took it down till u read it here... set up was on cloud ovh mate vps

OK there is no usersuploads there is a UserFiles and they dont have to be chmodd to 777 they need to be writable by the system

You would need to go to admin panel / user tab / groups / manage group permissions / user permissions / guest.

But I fail to understand, this is a private tracker!! why would you want to give "guest" permissions to d/l?? makes no sense.

Good luck Napon, I used this for some time & apart from the lack of themes it's a nice code.

I tend to disagree. I've used this, and find the panel to be very cumbersome...for use as a tracker.
It is based off of a forums script...I think MyBB, which I never cared for. Difficult to get the permissions set properly...we were constantly having problems...people who we thought were set, still had problems accessing things they should have had access to.
I would rate this script, at best, 5th.

true its too much work to do on this platform mate its not up to php7 core alot of work to be done on it..the above errors are just a bit if i posted the full list there be no room on this thread

I've no idea as to what happened? I had some downtime prior to xmas and upon my return the domain & hosting had expired.

I'd tried a number of times to contact Joe via PM & email to find out whats-what and they all went unanswered, even though he'd been online here after they were sent.

I'm miffed that after all the time I'd spent helping Bug Test and doing all those dreaded Language files that he didn't have the courtesy of replying to me.

So I would now presume that BTM is dead in the water, whether it returns, who knows?

I really do not care about *bugs* no tracker script gets it bang on the first time around & joe along with Thor did ok at there first attempt, I have to stand by my word the support alone was excellent, not many script authors are willing to come along and be a user at your site to help out & this *Black_heart* did (ie) joe, thartley55 is correct setting the permissions was a fucking nightmare, 2 things which worked flawless 1, Shoutcast 2, HnR :lol: and thanks again Thor and joe were ever you are and whatever happened to you to let your domain expire, I did offer my help..

Its very dead its a shame too it as alot of bugs in the PHP7 as above but never mind some day ill get to sorting it but not yet im doing something else at min

@papad I know we discussed things via PM, the below is for everyone else.

I agree the permissions were a nightmare to get right having to set them in more than one place.

The Domain & Hosting was in Joe's name so he saw with this, I had no dealings with it. I too also offered to take over the site even if it was only to get access to the fixes & other additions that were posted on the forum that never made their way to GitHub.

I see no valuable reasons in banging on about this any longer! joe must have had some personal reason(s) for letting the Domain & Hosting expire!! since this has happened I recall only seeing joe turn up here on a handful of a occasions, Napon mate I would ask from a personal thing, bro let this one lay low, who knows what joe is going throw it might be serious, so until he can get back here and defend his code. :ok:
