Trackers where anyone can upload
 

I wanted to upload a video file on https://thepiratebay.org but i got a '500 Internal Server Error' message
They seem to have a problem with uploads atm. Anyone knows other public trackers where you can upload freely?

You don't need to upload a torrent to seed it. Just use a public tracker.


Try adding the following in your torrent client,

This is a new torrent that is not available anywhere else and i need to have it indexed on a public tracker

I have found a workaround for the TPB '500 Internal Server Error' upload problem


1.

a. If you have a seedbox with SSH access or a linux machine with mktorrent installed

run the following command: mktorrent -v -l 26 -a 'udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337' NAME_OF_FOLDER_WHERE_FILES_ARE

b. If you use Windows download mktorrent from here https://github.com/zedxxx/mktorrent-for-windows
unrar it on your C:\ then put the folder you want to upload in the same place. open cdm and run the following

cd C:\
mktorrent.exe -v -l 26 -a 'udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337' NAME_OF_FOLDER_WHERE_FILES_ARE


to add more trackers to your torrent file add another -a 'TRACKER_URL'. 26 is the SIZE of the torrent pieces. 26 power of 2 = 64 MB
for torrents under 10 GB you can use -l 25 but for those over 10 GB use -l 26 or 27 or even 28. Warning: wont work in utorrent <3.x


2. the torrent file will be created in your 'data' folder where you started. upload it and it will check your files then it will start to seed.

3. upload the torrent on TPB

4. PROFIT :ok:

If you have seedbox, You do not need any linux, Debian or another commands, you just need to click on the bottle

you're missing the point. the whole idea is to create bigger size pieces and you can only do 16 MB with your seedbox
so that is why i was looking for another way to create bigger size pieces and my example creates 64MB pieces which works for thepiratebay.org upload

the thing is that if the pieces sizes are smaller the torrent file is bigger but with a 64 MB piece a 10 GB file has a 4KB torrent compared to 12KB with 16MB pieces
