announce.php cauzing high load on hosting servers

So here is the problem, aparently announce.php cauzes high load on a server cpu, which system then auto suspends my account. I have contacted them about this issue, and they said once more and we will have to terminate your account, may i ask why this happens?

I use external scrape, and i think it reads external trackers info and shows them on our website, because if i upload a torrent my upload stats go in terabytes, and tracker stats showing millions of leechers. would that be a cauze to high server load?

did you use the external scrape fix?
I use it, and my server load is not high ...

they terminated my account, i have removed announce.php from ftp and its still was making problems.

mmisu120000 29th June 2009 20:56

sorry about your account ...
maybe if you had fixed scrape sooner, that woudn't had happend ...
anyway, the fix works, i've tested it, the load is normal, but I do not use scrape, i want my tracker 100% private ...

sorry again for your account, that is the real proof that xamsh!t is an a-hole ... we have to fix his codes, and we don't ask for money for that ... and most important our coding and fixing don't make damage to users ...

well atleast i have a backup, of all files. they agreed to unsuspend for the last time, and i asked to delete all the files from ftp so it wont cauze the load untill i will fix it. There are three fixes for scrape which one should i use? i have last chance to make this right dont want to screw this up.

I will start using only private tracker aswell, but i have switched of external torrents and scrape, removed announce from server, i do not understand how its still was cauzing high load..

Bump: i have removed scrape.php and uploading files again will it help to prevent from high load?

mmisu120000 29th June 2009 22:09

well, i used the last one ...

why delete scrape.php?
just go to tracker settings and set "Active External Scrape?" to "disable" and "Include External Peers?" to "No" ...

it didnt work, the minute i upload announce.php server cpu usage jumps up, i think i will do fresh install, gona backup users and forum database.
