Re: NetManiack v1.6

if you dont know wat a css file is u shudnt bother starting a tracker to be honest... PHP is complicated for a new user and if your not familiar with HTML and the basics of CSS your site will either be a copy of someone elses and look pants for it or it will have more security holes that the template shares source

but for the sake of argument the css file is a stylesheet file with a .css file extension. It will most likely show as a notepad or wordpad file unless you have something like dreamweaver installed which will take over everything. The other way you can tell is search for a file called "default" .. that should be the default css file

if teh invite mod isn't added then you need to get an invite mod from somewhere.. tbdev.net has a list of mods but you've gotta become an active community member before u can see um

Re: NetManiack v1.6

did you choose to save the file to the same place as the existing files .. if you do not choose to download into the same folder where the files u upload exist it will not verify all data is there and hence wont begin seeding

Re: Netmaniak based on TBDEv?

most sources are based on tbdev.. ive never really looked at netmaniacks release so i dont know how much it has been changed. Just keep in mind that the mods on tbdev are intended for near drop in scripts to the source so depending on how much netmaniak has been altered from the original tbdev will determine how easy to install them mods will be.

If you dont have basic PHP knowledge id start with a tbdev source and mod it at least then u shudnt encounter too many problems

this is usually a problem with http server configurations .. trying to fix the config can be stupidly hard sometimes but there is a simple fix and thats to change the way the torrent download is called ..

im not 100% certain on the coding differences between netmaniak and virgin tbdev so i cant give a definative answer until i see the code .. please post your details.php page and your download.php page and i'll post back what you need to edit to hopefully rectify the problem.
