Bug in promoting user to power user in TS 5.6


Whatever options i'm using in the tracker options to auto promote the users.. by their ratio or upload.. or days from the registration.. the auto promotion does not work...

Does anyone knows what it's the problem ?

People will only do the same mistake since mistakes are ment to be made so you will be saving somebody asking the same question later on :)

in tracker settings -> /admin/settings.php i have set up Promote Users GB Limit? to 0 ( zero ).. as i haven't completely understood what this function does.. i set it up to zero.. and since there were no promotiions... i set it up to 10...

and the promoting works now.. even i dond't really understand what this does...

i'm hoping that it's working when the users gather a 10 gb upload

as i have seen in the cron job for 1 day... there are some IF's.. aand when all the conditions are met.. the promotion is enabled... nevertheless.. when i setup that option to zero.. it should've been disabling that way of promoting.. but.. seems not.. so..

maybe someone can tell me that the: /admin/settings.php Promote Users GB Limit.. does..??

so 25 GB of upload must be done by the user to get promoted to power user but that's not going to happen right away! there are more dependencies
1. the time limit 28 days (user must have been on site for that or longer)
2. Cleanup Interval, you need to wait or force cleanup so the script will run and promote the user
3. ratio 1.05+ is pretty strict unless you change that

i understand what u just said , but when instead of the 25 gb traffic.. i set it up to 0 ( zero ), the if's from the script should've ignored this option.. right ?
