and tbh where are you going to get a class fullymodded source that upto date with full support well I will give the answer nowhere.
But if you feel it needs a complete re-design of html feel free to do it then post it. Oh thats assuming you can of course

if you're talking about the amount of tables used (because i agree on some themes there are alot of tables used) its only half hours work to re-do the themes to your liking (if you're fluent in xhtml/css)..

Can I have a little exaggerated, but some scripts do not use CSS but a old tables config (example <table border="1" width="100%" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000">) and was referring me to this.

And yes with some work solves
