Well, lets get straight to it, how big is your computer??


I'll start, for some unknown reason..


Apple iMac 21.5"
2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
1920 x 1080 resolution
4GB (two 2GB) memory
2TB hard drive1
AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 512MB

And iPad & iPhone 4S

My old pc got F_cked (long story)
so i use this garbage
but that don't stop me

Dell U2711 (27 inc ; IPS ; 2560x1440, 300$ cheaper than Apple's one for same specs)

OS : Windows 7 Arium

Intel Celeron E3300 @2x 2.50Ghz (most important : VT-X for virtualization)
8 Gigs of RAM (1 gb per VM)

4x2TB datas
2x1TB backup (no RAID, because i want to keep incremental backups)
Windows Server 2008 (host)
+ Debian / CentOS / Gentoo, etc. running in VM for deploy tests
+ replication of servers in production outside LAN
LAN : gigabit ; WAN : FTTH 100/100Mbits

Usage : SMB, FTP, HTTP, SQL, DAAP (music in iTunes), DNS (i've a domain and each subdomain are matching with a host in my LAN), DHCP, Router/FW.

The Over Clocking was done by the company that I bought the PC from and were kept within safe percentages.

with 2 gigs ddr2 ram
a PCI Geforce 7300 GS with 512 mgs ram
2 ATA ST3400620AS HDS (400gig)
1 ATA WDC WD1001FALS-00J7B0 HD (1TB)
and a small 37" Plasma monitor running HDMI

i have a PC from 2008
every piece in it was chosen by me since i love to work with PC hardware
today is not so powerfull anymore but it still works ok for my needs

Intel C2D 7300 @3.00GHz
BFG Tech Nvidia 260GTX
A-Data 2GB RAM DDRII
Asus P5Q-E

but i`m most proud of my pc case which is an Antec 1200 (because of which is bought a cheaper processor)
