so far i got it working on
servage
canaca
godaddy (haven't checked that for while)
anyways you can run your own linux box and run a true server at your home you don't a host, all you have to do is to register a dynamic DNS and point it to your IP

also how about trying ts4.3 or 5.1 instead?
