TSSE 5.6 with SSL

Has anyone tried to add an SSL cetrificate to TS 5.6?
Is this possible? Are there any problems with the announce or the script generally that are caused by the SSL encryption?

Bump: I added the SSL but seems like TS5.6 doent not support it.
Chat doent work with SSL and even if i enter the https://my-tracker.com when I click a link or I start to browse the site https gets away and I get just my-tracker.com

i remembered i didnt have shoutbox before so didnt matter to me

7.2 was made for ssl downloads

ssl on your http would only encrypt payments made through donations

so just use the ssl on your announce then

so just tell your donors make sure to use https

if you have a seedbox with your seeding torrents once you change to ssl then you will have to edit your torrents properties to the same announce

Yeap. TSSE 5.6 is not working good with SSL
Dont try it.. You will loose yor time and money

so how did you come to this conclusion how did you test , in which way did you test and what was your outcome?

for one it does work for two it wont show shoutbox messages

I bought a possitive SSL certificate aprox 9$
I succesfully installed it to my VPS.
Im using TSSE 5.6 Night
I changed from the MAIN Settings on Tracker Settings my BASE URL
from http://MYTRACKER.com to https://MYTRACKER.com
Everything was OK. All users necessarily used the https://MYTRACKER.com and shoutbox was ok.
Everything seemed to be ok. But when someone tried to upload the torrent was not working properly and the utorrent was unable to communicate the the announce or the tracker.
Then I changed from the MAIN Settings on Tracker Settings my announce URL
from http://MYTRACKER.com/announce.php to https://MYTRACKER.com/announce.php

The the situetion was even worse, so I removed everything.

PS: If you go on http://templateshares.net/ on » TS SE Features says:
SSL & External Scrape Support
In 5.6 tought SSL is not supported

so what your saying is partially wrong it does work but not on your current announce https encrypts the data so it does work on your url but not on your announce

which is working

so just use the url instead of the announce
