Help please (site configuration)

Hi there, ive installed version 2.08 everything as gone well, but for some reason i cannot update anything in the site configuration in admincp and i'm also getting error on page through my browser, no matter which browser i use.... any help would be great.

what can you not do? please give a little more detail. what error are you getting?

when i add new themes it wont let me set 1 to default, everytime i press the update button nothing happens at all, ive checked my error logs and not getting any error in there and when i look at any page from browser it says done but error on page at the bottom left hand side.

Forgot to mention, i'm using xampp 1.8.1 on my pc

#2 What are the errors your getting?
#3 What happens when you try to save?

i'm testing on my pc at the minute with xampp 1.8.1
the error i'm getting is (20024)The given path is misformatted or contained invalid characters: [client 127.0.0.1:3323] AH00127: Cannot map GET /%22%22.$site_config[%22SITEURL%22].%22/images/error/404-error.png/%22 HTTP/1.1 to file, referer: http://localhost/'.$site_config[

and when i press save/update nothing happens

ok change localhost to your ip address

everything looks fine apart from that part.

hm TT must be easiest to install, only have to edit 2 files and add database. you are using correct themes and not old themes? use themes for 2.08
