to make the standard theme wider just make the body css class 100% width or any table class you would want from the file itself.
you need to check both css and the files itself to see what needs to be changed and to fit your needs

DnD wrong it's not body at all and it's 1000px as well do not set body to 100% this will not work like I said a few threads back you have to set all the css up not just one line a few or your site will look very bad
