apt-get install build-essential should fix it. EDIT: Seriously ? Does no one here read the error output ? @ajax The error is just there sitting in front of you. "/site/xbtt/build/xbtt/src/.libs/lt-xbt_tracker: error while loading shared libraries: libmisc.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" libmisc.so.0 is missing. Duhhhh.... now, google how to install it or try, aptitude search libmisc for the package if running some debian variant. |

Well, yeah, two years ago really didn't know much about anything of "server stuff", but Centos still not an usable os, maybe you can run an WordPress on it, or yeah, wait.. u can base a Mu server there. Ok, maybe, but only maybe user can use centos and at same time fill all his needs if he knows it like his left hands 5 fingers and like to spend time to configure all shit to work together, not like one torturing another and then you need to choose something else to get it all done, and yeah, here goes a lot of time, anyways Debian 6/7 is the way to go.

I don't know why do you hate CentOS. I just installed the whole tracker, configured it and made the server up in just 20 hrs. I used CentOS 6.4 on a vps. And it runs fine. I do not know much about servers so cannot tell debian is better or not but I am pretty satisfied with CentOS. *And the main thing is before this 20 hrs I never used CentOS, though I am a Fedora user and Fedora and CentOS are pretty similar. |
