donation bug
 

has anyone fixed teh donations bug in 5.1 yet everytime someone donates says they only donated 1 usd and only updates by 1 usd help plz

it seems this is a bug cause others have a problem with it:

xam might fix it in his latest release v5.3 but we don`t have that yet !

k thanx mate wonder if 4.3 donate fiels would work

yea 4.3 same crap it goes 1 USD so you have to use PhpMyAdmin to manually change the amount that's what my friend has been doing for his site

You can "fix" this by editing in the DB, If you edit the amount in the db it will stay at that amout at the site.

soz im not too good with sql what part shall i change and to what also the auto promotion when they donate doesnt work

Staff Menu / Tracker Settings

ADDIONAL SETTINGS / PAYMENT Settings

Make sure Auto-Promote Active? Y

You also need to make changes in Paypal and get a Identity Token and paste that into the settings.

Also edit CONFIG/paypal_config.php

To update a users amount manually just alter the Users table's 'Donated' to what they have just donated and also the 'total_donated' to the total amout they have donated, this is a running total.

k done all that it adds ammounts right now but doesnt auto promote any ideas on that part
