How to enable ADS in FTS 1.1

In tracker manage one have the possibility to disable ads in Ads option, it says:

If you want ads to dissapear, just live the ads content to "---" (without quotes)

Well, my question is how to enable ads?

I mean when I delete the three --- and save it seems doesn,t work...or perhaps I have to write something in the box...what code?

the add code? I don,t know at all how to fix this, because I would like to have ads in my site.
