Nice personally I like Ubuntu. I run it on my old laptop :) But then i bought better PC and run Windows XP x64 now:) Also works fine.

i tried runing xp 64bit on my laptop :D what a crash instalation stops at point "starting windows "
32bit xp does't have drivers needed like sound or video
windows vista (oh for get it never will run it in my life ) :D

kp380lv 31st August 2009 18:13

Well how good was or is your laptop then if you get crash on it? :D
I never had problems with XP 32 bit drivers on my laptop. I always find what i need:)
I hate Windows Vista i tried Windows 7 beta version and it's worked better than Vista which i ran on my PC 2 days.. And then i was angry because Vista very much eat my system resources and i reinstall my PC back to XP x64 :D

kp380lv 31st August 2009 18:35

Yes Ubuntu works good i like it:) But since i get better system i choose install Windows OS. Offcourse i tweak it with registry tweaks disable all what i don't need. And keep it in good condition :D
But damn it's sucks about your pavilion dv6610 - Maybe you should return that laptop to shop where you buy it and take money back!
