No confirmation mail
 

Hello!
I'm using TBDev 2010 revision 464 and users do not receive confirmation mail when they register. Please help!

a bit more specific ? server config ? error log ?
do you have mail server installed/activated ?

Sorry, but I don't know nothing about this... My log directory is empty. How do I install/activate mail server? Please help!

you don't even know if you have windows or linux system ?
is it a server or localhost ?:coffee:

I have hosted VPS with linux.
And I have an other tracker (TSUE) on same host, which is working fine.

did you set any e-mail address in include/config.php ?

do you have any knowledge in linux ?

In my config.php there is:

$TBDEV['site_email'] = "slycrespo@gmail.com";

No, I dont have any knowledge in linux.

why did you put gmail ? I just LOL'ed..
put something as noreply@localhost
and if you have on the server some mail service running [sendmail] it will work

Now I have:

// Email for sender/return path.
$TBDEV['site_email'] = "noreply@localhost";

And the mail still does not come.

message me in private the login details for the server if you wish and i'll see what you have there.
