What is the best source now?

Hy all!

I tested a few sources and I have a question that may help other users.

What is the best source now?

In terms of:
Security
Quality code
Updates
Simplicity of interface

I like the Torrent Strike but the v4 is very old version and the V5 no estimates of launch.

Tested the Scatari Yuna (if you change the script will probably be for this or for TBDev Source) xBTiT (not like the system of templates, but did not test well) BrightSwitch Project (I love this script but it is still beta, m eager to leave the final version).

A script that is not like is the Template Shares, that may have the best code but the interface is very bad, Web 1.0 times ...

If this topic is repost sorry, and excuse my bad english xD

I have to test, but I was not surprised with the interface.

-Tbdev Official Modded Version By Big Joos (BETA) Includes Installer
Need a re-design in the whole of the html in de source.

-Last Version from SVN using phpBB3
Know this version, i will test, but as a version that was never completed, i fear in the use.

-Krypto - My Version
Prefer using phpBB and i can not test (Internal Server Error) ...

I have Torrentstrike Fullymodded v1.0 more or less configured end templates prepared, but did not want to launch a tracker with an outdated script.

Liked to choose a good script, to avoid changing the script in the future.

Thanks Strikey, if I switch to Tbdev i pm you and Krypto's thanks for your comment.

errm can I ask what you meen interface?
If you have any questions about phpMyBitTorrent you can ask me I know a little about it.
it uses phpBB3.0.4 forum with what looks like a simple interface but its realy not.
+ the forum is very easly upgradeable only take minutes to do
all phpBB3 styles well still work
PMBT uses a theme system that allows you to make your pages look as you want it because all the layouts are in themes and not the base code.
PMBT uses a upgrade script so Upgrading is very easly done.
PMBT has a install script which only takes minutes to run
PMBT is very secure
PMBT is easy on your server

I can go on and on
If your in a great hurry 2.0.3 has a few bug but all bug have been found and fix listed ether here or on My forum.
If you can wait 2.0.4 I am working on now and beta testing should begin shortly.

there is over 14 themes at phpMyBitTorrentV2.0.3 and you realy can not judge just from a look at the site you would realy need to see the complete system.:drink:

Yes you are right, but the example is not very good and it can lead deceive users.

^^
de source - uses id's and classes correctly, uses css correctly, all tags opened are closed in the correct way..

if you're talking about the amount of tables used (because i agree on some themes there are alot of tables used) its only half hours work to re-do the themes to your liking (if you're fluent in xhtml/css)..

i think it's a bit of an overstatement saying "Need a re-design in the whole of the html in de source."

just my views :-)
