is there suppose to be a working shoutbox
 

hi sorry for all the que's atm lol

ive got 5.1 and have a shoutbox on the from page but nothing appears when u type something in the input box and press shout...

is this suppose to be function or do i need to intall or set anything up?

the shoutbox plugin code area is blank... and the plugin is set to active... is this correct??

if not what am i missing or what have i not set up?

Bump: hi folks update....

seems if i goto http://www.mysite.com the shoutbox doesnt work.. i get like 2 blue arrows in a circle rotationg in the lower right side...

if i goto http://mysite.com it all works fine...

any ideas how to sort this?

DOH its not links to my site... is like saying www.mydomain.com www.mywebsite.com

i was showing that if you've set the site to your domain using www. then going to the site without the www. the shoutbox wont work...

i had the site set without the www. so going to the website using ww. blah blah the shoutbox didnt work...

and there was me worried people thought i was thick.... cheers for taking my place!!! :lol:

reupload your shoutbox make sure there cmodded correct add functions/permissions in the settings panel to setup shoutbox
