Scammer Active @ BvList! Member: wtf
Hello, as some of you know the member called "wtf" is here in the designer team, so I trusted that person. We made the following deal: - I will pay him $20 using PayPal. - He will design/code a TBdev theme. He said he would finish the deal on Saturday. Anyway I waited untill Sunday, and I contacted him I really thought I was scammed by him so I asked the shoutbox for help. I opened a dispute @ paypal. Later the member "wtf" contacted me again and said he had some internet connection problems. I believed him and I didn't wanted to work with him further so I asked for a refund... He said close the dispute and I will refund you. So I closed the dispute and waited on him, but no replies from email/pm :( NOTE: After you closed a dispute @ paypal you cannot re-open it... wow, i can remember this arguement in shout, i did hear wtf say he had your theme but something wrong with his internet. maybe his internet is still down? if he is messed you around then im afraid not alot you can do but to try dispute with paypal again. you should be carefull who you pay money to (after all we do not know each other WELL do we?) but that does not mean there are not good users here as there is alot of trustworthy users. all i can say is be carefull in future, hope wtf sticks to his guns and refunds or gives you your code you paid for. your right he is recognised as a designer here, which sad to say can effect other designers who are genuine. i personally like to help others if i have time for free, i dont ask for money, one time i was down there getting help too/and still am (but not down there lol im up a little now), donations are appreciated as a thank you, but not as a bill.

Still no email/pm from "the scammer"... And he is still in the Designer team? :(

Did you ask to see any of his work that he has done in the past or at least been able to test run the design before paying him or did you pay him before the job was started ?
Just from seeing wtf asking for you to close the dispute simply shows he wasnt willing to refund you as thats all he would of needed todo for the dispute to end safely . |

BVLIST is not to blame that is why dude. wtf has done nothing to hurt bvlist, would be unfair to punish someone for something they hadnt done. As joe said, he has not been back online since xxxxxx. I Repeat, if you want to pay a user some money it is up to YOU not BVLIST! be on your own head. |
