please can someone tell me how i can change the shoutbox settings to refresh faster

tracker settings -> tweak settings -> refresh page? yes/no and put there the seconds how faster you wish to refresh ;)

The shoutbox is ajax and doesnt update through a page refresh .

The whole point of ajax is to stop refreshing of a page :)
