Restore pmbt site and sql with different sql name and username
 

i desided to restore my old pmbt site from the backups i took , but there are some issues...my new site has new domain, new sql database name and new user connected to the new sql...so i "somehow" have to link my site to the new sql and new username....how can i do that plz?thank you all...

Import using phpmyadmin or similar, then change the connection strings within your config file.

i found 2 files that need to be changed...config.php under phpbb3 folder and configdata.php under include folder...is this all i have to change to connect the site to the new sql?
