torrentflux will load the CPU to 100%... it will load so slow. not recommended
i guess, being from Romania, u get your hands on some server and decided to get some money.
why not install rtorrent instead? hmm.. i know linux it is hard but hey, you gotta learn sometime.

"i guess being from Romania, u get your hands on some server and decided to get some money" < actually I am not from Romania, server is located in Romania...plus torrentflux does not load CPU to 100% and it does not "slow load", maybe on crap servers I grant you that it may do what you describe. Also decided torrentflux as it is still one of the most commonly used seedbox interfaces there is, maybe will look into different interfaces though in the future so thank you for your advice.

I think also you will find all of our services are offered at very competitive prices for what we offer too. But once again thank you for your suggestions and all feedback is welcomed :)

hi

just a tip here being a previous seedbox provider

torrentflux is shite it does over load the cpu to death
no matter how big the server is or in your case vps, second you say theres only one person per item when in reality there will be many on the same server{not vps}. rtorrent is the way for more and better service. even utorrent on wine is better.
what happens is you seed your items so for example i have 100 torrents seeding, then i create a torrent the cpu goes through the roof and i can say this 100% the previous reply was correct. and page takes ages to load try yourself you will come to the same conclusion..it is a resource hog and one reason it dont get updated even the german version. if you need a tutorial to setup rtorrent give me a shout but as most know linux aint easy to play with like windows good luck with your service hope you take the comment on board for your clients...:drink:

thank you for your feedback and will look into other client interfaces as stated.

Ok ran test and downloaded 25 torrents and started creating another as others were still active, server stayed fast so I checked what CPU usage was during this time:

varied between 4-10%, the 10% peak was when I was creating a torrent

torrentflux box loading just fine and no lag at all :)

so on 50GB box think this will handle torrenting very well, plus most torrents today are 1Gb+ in size you prob wont too many more than 50-70 torrents on this box due to space not limitation, so even if you double above then the CPU would max hit 20% of full capacity which I'm sure will be fine for such product :)

But as stated I understand torrentflux isn't for everyone so think I can't please everyone all the time lol but will look into other packages running rutorrent/deluge for those who don't like torrentflux.

Bump: PRICE CUT TO $12 A MONTH :)

Bump: We offer a new 1 Gbp/s seebox pack, the full specs are:

150 GB HARD DRIVE

1000 Mb/s line

Unlimited Bandwidth

Unlimited Torrents (Up and Down)
