403 Forbidden on TorrentStrike
 

hey guys, im trying to setup TorrentStrike on a free webhost and i have the directory public_html where I upload all the files.
After uploading all the files, when i goto the site with "admincp.php" it just says "You don't have permission to access /admincp.php on this server."

How can i fix this? :unknown:

@joeroberts, im using version 0.4 and its not modded (from sourceforge). but i resolved the problem, seems i forgot to set the permissions for the actual folder.

but now i get this when i try to make a sysop account:

accretio hi, have you installed it from admincp?
put the detalis there click submit then you given to install the sql

Open bittorent.php with notepad++ end find that line 93 end post here the code.
Also try NOT to use a free host no good .. try localhost with xammp

yes i am using admincp.php and i do it all successfully, until im asked to make a sysop account and thats where i get an error.

i'm planning on getting a paid host but i'd like to first set up the whole website on a free host beforehand so that i am prepared with advertising, etc. so that i can pay for the hosting costs, coz here in south africa, hosting isn't very cheap.

Hey accretio, i have check in bittorent that line : mine is 103 .. end the code is ok it is a match with mine so it is ok.
Try this bittorent ( make sure you back-up the old one ).

Hey accretio i think i found your problem , here is some version's of bittorrent.
Rename 1 , 2 ,3, 4 to bittorent, end try .Good luck
