Help please (site configuration)
 

Hi there, ive installed version 2.08 everything as gone well, but for some reason i cannot update anything in the site configuration in admincp and i'm also getting error on page through my browser, no matter which browser i use.... any help would be great.

what can you not do? please give a little more detail. what error are you getting? :sos:

when i add new themes it wont let me set 1 to default, everytime i press the update button nothing happens at all, ive checked my error logs and not getting any error in there and when i look at any page from browser it says done but error on page at the bottom left hand side.

Forgot to mention, i'm using xampp 1.8.1 on my pc

and when i press save/update nothing happens

what information have you entered into config.php?

still the same problem

hm TT must be easiest to install, only have to edit 2 files and add database. you are using correct themes and not old themes? use themes for 2.08

it installed fine, and i got themes for 2.08 it's just the update button which wont work for some reason, might try a earlier version

look at the mysql error and php error log and see what it says.

I too have the same problem in admincp in configuration, no change parameters when I click the update button!
no error messages!

the configuration in admincp isnt finished, you have to alter the config file manually for settings to take effect

The config area in admincp was never finished in 2.0.8 you has to manully edit config.php :coffee:

configuration in admincp As never worked and its is security risk as well this why MVP never finished it off your best removing this from admincp :drink:
