What can I do with this hosting?

Hi,

I'm considering buying a dedicated at LeaseWeb.
Do you think I can be ok with this plan? How many active members do I stand? 3000? 5000?
Any suggestions?

The plan is this:

Intel T2450/2GB/1x160GB (DC4)

Hardware
Server Model: EverCase ECR9130
Processor: Core Duo T2450
RAM: 2GB DDR2
Disk: 1x160GB SATA2

Networking
Uplink Port: 1 x 100Mbps Full-Duplex
Traffic / Bandwidth: 5000 GB (Standard network)
Included IPs: 1

Thanks! :ok:

ok here is the problem i see: you don`t know if you will be successful

keep in mind YOU CAN ALWAYS UPGRADE LATER!
my advice is to pay for whatever you want but don`t pay for a full year, get 3 months and see how you do

think about the possibility that maybe you will not get 3.000 people in your site very soon...play it safe

You're right.
But this is the cheapest dedicated at LeaseWeb.
Do you think a VPS is enough to start? It is very difficult to migrate to a dedicated after?

That is the cheapest VPS:

Express - S

Hardware
Virtual CPU: 1.0 Ghz, 1 Core
Virtual RAM: 2GB DDR2
Diskspace: 40GB (SATA, RAID 6)

Networking
Traffic / Bandwidth: 500 GB (Standard network) *
Included IPs: 1

Any sugestion?

Thanks! :ok:

Ok.
The problem is that some VPS plans are more expensive than dedicated at LeaseWeb. I don't understand it very well.
The dedicated at LeaseWeb was the cheapest I found. Any suggestions from other hosting services?

Thanks! :ok:

Thank you for the help! I'll check this out!

Another thing I have doubts: If the plan does not have Control Panels, it is very difficult to install the tracker?

Thanks! :ok:

I'm thinking about TSSE.

I've installed some trackers at locahoust and at some free hosting (with pan control).
But never get a VPS or dedicated (without pan control).
If I get the VPS is very difficult to migrate to a dedicated after?
