hi peeps here you can put all ideas for fearless torrent script

i want it to be the best so anything you think should be in script then tell me :D

Lets Start from the basics:

Starting Point.

Well , personaly speaking after installing every version of script that is posted on here as a test , the one thing that jumps to mind that all good scripts need is, a clean install option.

By that I mean , upload all files , chmod files & folders as described. Then navigate to the folder the script is installed to ie; hxxp://vvv.atestsite.com/script/install/install.php

With a valid install routine called & executed, serverhost,db_name,db_user & password

No extra coding or altering code should be needed. Anything to be altered should be done so via the Admin Control Panel / Settings Options.

My coding skills are sadly lacking nowadays, I lost interest years ago or more to the point... Lost the time to do anything. Now i devote my time to running my dedicated servers & hosting buisness.As well as quite a few forums.
But I will follow this and chip in where I can..

Here is my dream script :)
1. All scripted in UTF8
2. True multi-language support i.e. every aspect of tracker like browse would refer back to a language file as browse.lang.?
3. True multi-language means right to left is supported!!!
4. Mods can be installed and uninstalled, activated and deactivated (like in joomla 1.5)
5. Don't dump all functions in 1 php file, please separate public tracking vs private tracking each as module or plugin, each anti cheat system is also a plugin so can be enabled or disabled
6. AJAX chat box
7. no forums but instead can easily integrated to any other forum type by using a bridge (support main ones like phpbb3, vb, ipb, smf ..etc)
8. default template should be nice a clean using proper CSS and DIVs
9. torrent categories like demonoid tracker style :)
10. options of what torrents can been seen by which groups like search bots, guests, users, power users,...etc
11. options of what to be downloaded by which groups (of course no bots) but if guests can download or not
12 figure out how vuze.com delivers torrents in similar to streaming mode i.e. vuze tells azureus how to download things so videos can be streamed (try vuze or ask me about more details)
13. http://cgiirc.org support actually screw the shoutbox this is way better :D dattebayo has it
14. allow .torrent files to be downloaded as .txt for people who getting blocked :(
15: cryptoport extension on tracker also maybe allowing https in announce url
16. support of multiple private tracker announce URLs or different port :)
17. UDP tracking that actually report ratio!!!!
18. oh yea for sure some RSS :D
19. invitation options by email or by code
20. request section
21. offer section but like in boxtorrents.com style
22. agent ban allow disallow which clients can be used
23 awesome search funtion that search through passkey, age, name...etc, ip but doesn't have ot be full you can chose a whole domain or just subdomain, also able to search by bitclient used
24 bonus system or hmm maybe screw it :P
25. proper avatar library and ability to upload one or just link to another site but detecting how big it is

Wow, seems we have gone from a starting point, straight to the finished article here...

Surely a starting point is getting the CORE script 100% correct before anything else. Thats why you have RC Versions in increments.

To add all the functions listed above from the outset , you are blinding the coder with obstacles where he would be constantly chasing his own tail, so to speak..

Get the core right , by one or two coders.. Plugins & extra funstions can be worked on by other coders at each stage of development...

Nothing wrong with the vision of the finished article , but theres an old saying.. " Dont try and run before you can walk "

the base i have almost done but i need help with putting stuff in cache files or in db

cause now script works but i have to edit many files if i wanna change something

not good in caching stuff yet :P
